The Moorland Exhibiton was a great success for almost ten years, but it came to an end in 2004. It was not possible to arrange an event in 2005, in 2006 an entirely new Art and Craft show was sponsored by Workbox magazine and organised by Victor Briggs (editor). Many of the exhibitors at the previous Moorland Exhibition, together with new craftspeople, were there to demonstate, exhibit and sell their craft work.
The Art and Craft show has continued and will again be happening in August 2010.
